This puzzle was found in the ‘Rhind papyrus”, an Egyptian scroll bearing mathematical table and problems, copied by the scribe ahmes (c.1650 b.c)

This reads as follows:
“As I was going to St.ives, I met a man with seven wives. Every wife had seven sacks, and every sacks had seven cats.
Every cat had seven kits, Kits, cats, sacks and wives-how many were going to St.ives?”
I call this puzzle Scary seven, because it has all number seven and this number is twisted over and over.
Even i don’t know the answer.

What is the Rhind papyrus?

The Rhind papyrus written in Egypt more than 3500 years ago which is the oldest know book on mathematics. It contains problems about the areas of triangles and rectangle.
