This trick is for all those people who want to save their data from outsiders .
So here it is, if you have very important data in one of your hard drive partition which you do not want anybody to access .Its a simple group policy edit trick.
Just click on start>run type gpedit.msc,
now go to user configuration> administrative templates > windows components> windows explorer,
now double click on “Hide these specified drives in My Computer” modify it accordingly
then just below you will find another option “Prevent access to drives from My Computer”, after double click you will find option modify as you like or as you need.
To make it visible again select “disable” by double clicking on the “Hide these specified drives in My Computer” option.
Now after alteration in registry keys you don’t think that someone who have the knowledge of these things can easily change your registry again so here is a trick to prevent access of your registry.
Just click on start>run type gpedit.msc,
now go to user configuration> administrative templates >system Double click on ”prevent access to the registry editing tools”,
Modify option as you like it, click applyNow after disabling access of registry editor you can open it by command prompt you need to type regedit only so here is a trick to prevent access of your cmd.
Just click on start>run type gpedit.msc,
now go to user configuration> administrative templates >system
Double click on ”prevent access to the command prompt”,
Modify option as you see in the picture above, click apply.
